Planning is the key to success

Building Regulations

Following receipt of the Planning or Listed Building Approvals we will prepare the detailed Building Regulations drawing suitable for submission to the Local Authority or Private Inspector.

These plans generally consist of scale1-50 floor plans, sections & elevations together with 1-20 & 1-10 details as necessary. We include a roof layout drawing, drainage details & an essential electrical drawing to show socket & light /switch locations.

During this process we secure the services of a local structural engineers & will liaise with them to form a comprehensive package. We will also obtain SAP calculations where necessary to provide information on the thermal elements where requested by the Building Inspector.

There are several areas particularly in the West Berks authority that will require specific details to cover the Critical Drainage areas & we will provide the necessary SUDs (SUSTAINABLE URBAN DRAINAGE)design details for these areas.
